ABOUT THE UPPER MURRAY YOUTH WORKING GROUP

The Upper Murray Youth Working Group has been created by the Corryong Neighbourhood Centre to give youth a voice on the bushfire recovery currently underway in the Upper Murray area. We provide the opportunity for young people to develop skills and capacity as members of the community and to influence the future by advocating peers and their own opinions on community development.

We encourage anyone aged 12-25 to attend so we can achieve the widest range of opinions on local topics as possible. We also have member-exclusive benefits including logo t-shirts, and free food at every meeting.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

We meet on the first Thursday of the month from 4-5pm at the Upper Murray Youth Space (42 Hanson st Corryong). These sessions aim to run like an upbeat conversation rather than a typical meeting and those who attend are automatically granted membership, a group logo tee, and invited to share in the free food provided.

PERMISSION SLIPS

We try to run fun trips, training and activities as often as possible, and all who attend are required to fill in and return the permission slip below.
